Extended lifespans, however, are not evenly distributed – deeply rooted health inequities persist, with older adults in underserved communities experiencing the most challenging effects of aging. Health and medical editor Anna Kuchment moderates a panel at the intersection of equity and aging, examining how we can improve the health status of a diverse population of older adults and empower all individuals to age with dignity and resilience.

Medical reporter Jessica Bartlett speaks with leading voices in IVF as well as a patient who has experienced the process about reducing disparities in outcomes and promoting patient-centered care.
Artificial intelligence (AI) tools are being introduced across industries to increase efficiencies and reduce human error, with healthcare and biotech no exception. AI’s potential to increase personalized medicine with better health outcomes has particular benefits for historically underserved populations.
